Photo of the city" ' The Venice of the North', from the bridge you cross from the guest harbor. There is a lot of water front in Stockholm and there are hundreds if not thousands of large, antique, and newer wooden/steel/fiberglass sailing and motor vessels at various states of repair, fit and finish. It is a beautiful city and nautical city per excellence ! --Bill.

I am enjoying the new forum Andy thanks for the effort.
Stockholm's Archipeligo is a wonderful cruising area just not at this time of the year. Here is how it looks now. This is our IF (International Folkboat) that we have had for 20 + years and the frozen marina that is being dredged. We are still planning on trading our IF for a Nicholson 31 after meeting Bill and seeing Blueprint. Bill may remember the marina but not the ice!
