I thought the Washington State boat could be the same boat when I went to
inspect her. When I asked that question, I was told it is a different boat.

BTW - I had responded to the everyboat listing several times and never had a reply.

The one in Port Townsend is hull #116 owned by Keven Dobelbower. See membership list. The other in Michigan has been on that website for many years and no one else has gotten a response from sending an e-mail either.

The two ads at the start of this thread are the same boat: Nikki, hull number 116. The Michigan ad is the one we responded to when we bought her. She was actually never in Michigan - the broker/owner was based there. The newer ad shows Nikki in the Bahamas, where we bought her. She is now in Port Townsend Washington. The current broker is Larry Bond, at Fleet marine: 1-800-952-6962.

I am looking for a 31 and it seems that the on in Washington State is the only one available in the US. Can anyone fill me in on the pluses and minuses of such a boat? Can I expect a twenty year old boat such as this to be of sufficient integrity, with a good going over, to successfuly undertake a long ocean voyage. Any inputs would be appreciated. Martin,

We have had our 31 since new in 1979. She is a great boat and I would have absolutely no worries about setting off across the Atlantic, for example, in her.

She is extremely seaworthy and sails very nicely. Get a good survey done and you have got a top-notch pocket blue water cruiser. All the original fit-out is to a very high standard. People still comment on how good our boat still looks.
