Does anyone know of a source for the zinc that fits in the hull recess? Also our electrical ground plate at the base of the mast needs replacement as the through hull bolts have corroded away. Does anyone know of a source for these items? There was a message posted on the zinc, however, I can not seem to find it.
We sail on the Chesapeake, however, UK sources are just fine.
Thanks,
Alex

Another option instead of ordering from UK and paying very high shipping costs to ship very heavy zinc from UK is to use 2 smaller zincs, each with a single bolt hole to attach them in the hull recess. I have seen this done on a Nic 40. Or, you could have one cast by a zinc mfg. which is what I have had done down in Trinidad. It wasn't very expensive but you have to find someone who casts custom anodes .This may be hard to find here in the US. I see you sail on the Chesapeake. I think there is a zinc anode manufacturer on the eastern shore, either Maryland or eastern Virginia. I never contacted them, but they might do it at a modest cost if you have the dimensions.
